Nicholas J. Long (Ph. D., University of Michigan) has taught at the University of Michigan, Indiana University, and the Washington School of Psychiatry.

He is currently Director of the Psycho-educational Institute of the Hillcrest Children's Mental Health Center and Professor of Special Education at American University. Jody Long (M. A., Indiana University), Dr. Long's wife, was a research assistant in the psychological assessment of students at Indiana University. She is now working as a tutor in Washington, D.C.
